that is good you found the problem with the gaskets..
i installed a set of (NOS) head gaskets in one of my truck's a little while ago..they have been on the shelf for many years and looked good.. when i ran the engine after a hour or so they started leaking both compression and coolant.. i replaced them with some new fel-pros and the engine now has 10,000 miles and no problems.. so i will never use (nos) gaskets again..
