I got the Barnes 4x4 spring perches today. Nice big heavy parts. Gives me a more confident feeling than the trailer ones. What I didn't think about with the trailer ones, until I had them in place under the springs, was that they didn't extend past the u-bolts. Now I know they'll be welded in place, but it just seems like it's a better idea. They will surely support the springs better.

Now I gotta get some tape on them and get to work with the circle template, protractor, or anything else that is round and the right size.
