Sounds like a good plan if you have a set handy. Almost looks like you could use half of that stack on the ePay link. That is a heck of a stack!

I really didn't want to mess with the 3.42 anyway, and I bet you are right on the brakes. I am leery of getting a good pattern after the swap and this is an outdoor project right now. I am gonna order a set of those 73-87 saddles and play with that and also a backing plate spacer at first. Simpler than remove and add back the brackets. Another yard e-mailed me today to say they didn't have any of the Ford saddles and he looked at two of their yards.
