I run a .060 over 261 in my 59 apache 1/2tn 3sp transmission 3.90 rear with 265/75/15 rear tires. It will run 70mph. all day at 3400rpm. I usually stay around 55/60 mph, the drivers down here in south louisiana keep you on your toes especially on the interstate highway.
I prefer to take the scenic route when I go somewhere, roll down the windows and enjoy the sights. At 55/60 where ever I'm going will still be there when I get there.
