Deve, its been a while but there was a thread going on here some time ago about the temperature tubing and I imagine it uses the same stuff...which I think was ether. And stuff about putting it in the freezer or something...I think Denny was a contributor to the discussion but my memory is fadddiiiinnggg.
EDIT: as I recall it was about 100 bucks to get a temperature gauge recharged. again, not sure about the heater control.
