I can never remember the proper terminology for the heaters. I see what you mean Tim. I have a 53 heater here in the shop and it seems to be more functional than the ones before it even though the heater core is visibly smaller. If the core turns out good, I may put that one in my 50 Deluxe project. The bigger core (47-52) doesn't fit in the newer cases (without modification).
