Deve, just go buy the electronic fuel injection/engine management system and do it. You have already pretty much halfway re-invented the wheel. It isn't all as magical as it seems at first. Get a couple of good books on the subject, (there are a whole bunch of them out there) Like I said you can use the junkyard parts,(cheap) or buy a dedicated aftermarket system (not as cheap) I just don't have the time right now. Even just playing with TBI would give you reams of information you can use towards SFI, even if it doesn't produce any noticeable gains in power.
