Ouch! That one's painful to look at! Be absolutely sure to pull all the oil gallery plugs out of the block and scrub the oil passages with rifle or shotgun cleaning brushes and plenty of solvent. If you haven't picked out a machine shop yet, talk to Alan at Lincoln County Auto Parts in Fayetteville. He will be able to give you good advice on whether to regrind or replace the crankshaft, and he will probably have a reasonable-price supplier if you choose to go with a "crankshaft kit"- - - -reground shaft and rod and main bearings as a package deal. Get him to recondition your connecting rods also. I've been doing business with him for 25 years or so, and he's VERY good!
