At my first job we kept small one lb coffee cans about half full of gas right there on the workbench, & used it to refill carburetors/check accel pump operation after being rebuilt. One day a fella watching us build his carb asked Dan about smoking around all that gas, Dan says "gas don't burn" & promptly tossed his lit cigarette in there(went right out). You shoulda seen the look on that guy's face, it was priceless, he also never came back behind the counter again.
