I would recommend a crate engine as well. A few years back I was looking into a new engine for my mustang, and at that time all the big 3 had several editions of their popular engines, Brand new with factory warranty. Assuming of course he is after something other than the old 216/235 era. Does anyone assemble straight 6 crate engines? Imagine this fellas glee when he returns to the forum and sees this lively debate where everyone has made assumptions and even made his decisions for him.
