I have put in well over a hundred Goodwrench engines & the only failure was a burnt ex. valve on a 292 many years ago. I don't even consider the warranty.
Watch out for imitations. The original "crate" engine was the Target Master parts program from GM. Later the name was changed to Goodwrench. Many companies are wraping wood around a rebuilt engine & calling it a crate engine.
I have built a lot of engines myself but the first thing I do when I get another truck is order a Goodwrench engine for it.
