well I read the original post, it kind of looks like the fella has a 53 GMC, I would just get a 302, now THAT would get him to where he wants to go. As far as that goes, go to Sissels automotive website. They pretty much specialize in inlines. They got some cool stuff. I also happen to know a chevy cam won't fit in a GMC or vice versa. So you could spend $200 on a 261 cam if you wanted something to put over the fireplace. But would be useless in a GMC.
