I've just started a build and I'm planning to go the hot rod/rat rod direction. My question is whether you guys think it's better to get an engine and have it rebuilt or pick up a crate engine?
-I live in Canada, which is likely to bump the price of a crate up.
-The truck is only going to be an occasional driver.
-I would be getting the engine rebuilt by someone else as I don't have the skills to do it myself.
-I'm not planning to have any crazy amounts of power just something fun to drive that can occasionally make clouds of burnt rubber
