I purchased a 502ci crate motor from a dealer in San Diego. It sucked a valve on the highway. They honored the warranty. They checked the fuel octane, oil and ignition components before they would warranty the motor though. That was 12 years ago. I sold the motor to a friend and it's still cruising today.
