It is fully illustrated on every page. Title: Better IgnitionNice photo of Delco Remy plant workers on inside front & rear cover. Covers all aspects of Delco Remy ignition. Loads of old time tips. I found it quite interesting. So, I posted a teaser photo of the first few pages at photobucket. These are jpeg files. Not the best quality. photobucket does not allow pdf files. Private email me with your email addressand I'll send you a much better quality file in a PDF file in a return email. Or if you like just reply with your email address. Just save it to your desktop or wherever you like. I just checked my PDF file...it reads really well with Adobe Reader. File size is 7.50mb . Each page has been scanned & cropped to 800 pixels wide. Should work with virtually any monitor. ( 20 ) pages in all...Front cover/inside front cover. ( 16 ) pages of text & illustrations. Rear cover/inside rear cover. In my opinion this is late 1940's - early 1950's. The best part it's free !Sample @ photobucket below: http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/...my_BetterIgnition_Teaser_zps979ecf53.jpgI'd really appreciate it if none of you take my pdf file & put it up on ebay. It's my pdf file that I made ...for the benefit of fellow stovebolters. If there's interest, I'll post up another Delco Remy printed booklet: Generators / Regulators also from the late 1940's / early 1950's. George in New Jersey

You'd probably get more traffic to them there.
16 pages is a lot of work but you've got a nice layout.
Let me know (editor@stovebolt.com), if you want us to make a link.

I received your email with the Delco Remy .pdf a few minutes ago. You did an excellent job of scanning and producing the .pdf. It's a good addition to my files of original GM publications.
The technical information explains things that I never understood. The service info shows that I am a bit lax on servicing my distributor.
Thanks for making the manual available to us.

It's fellows like you that have made that project what it is today, i.e., one of, if not the most valuable reference archives for the restoration community. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/index.htm Denny Graham Sandwich, IL

Thanks for the PDF, good stuff and much appreciated. | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | Great George, was unaware that you knew about Keith's project. I've seen many, many familiar names listed as contributors from all of the truck and car forums. I'd be lost with out that reference, I refer to it whenever I have a question, which is dang near every day. I'll be watching my email, dint see it there this morning. Thanks again,
Talking about TOCMP reminds me, Keith, Peg and John are due a little end of summer help with the electric bill, I gotta see if my "big old wife" left anything in the cookie jar.

After seeing this post, I sent an email to Keith. I think he's been a bit under the weather. He will be back "on the boat" in November, and he will resume working on the manuals project then.
It sure would make sense to collaborate with him with all these manuals and stuff. We have things people have sent to us that we can forward on to him also. Perhaps give him a little more prominence on our site (a/k/a ... a little square). I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't overwhelm him.
Hope to see this happen before the end of the year. And perhaps see how we can help him with what he's doing.

Thanks again,

They're especially timely, since I think my voltage regulator just died last night on the way home from a badly needed ice cream run with grandson. Hopefully the generator manual will help me troubleshoot.
