I think this would work better if it was divided into time zones. There is no west coast section.

Settings should be better now. There is no West Coast section because noone has stepped forward to organize one. Yet ... These groups represent those groups who have already formed and are doing things. If you get a group of Bolters together like Alvin or Cletis or the Virginia boys, or Dave ... then let me know and I'll set up a forum for you. John

This will be tweaked for a few days yet.

But you may want to read this The side lot is an extension of what has started on the site on it's own. The details are in the link.

We are open to more of these ...

Even that page needs editing.

Peg

Shoot -- I see there's also something wrong with no paragraphs. To be fixed ... and fixed ... and fixed.

Yep, we have a lot of wheat here also but mostly east river. I found some old advertising about the Black Hills and it called the hills "The Swiss Alps of the US". If that's true, I think I'd be a little dissapointed in the real Alps!

Having seen both there is simply no comparison. The hills around Sturgis, Lead and Spearfish are really pretty and have a beauty all thier own however. The Andes were somewhat of a disappointment to me but the lago's were terrific. All in all I'll take the Rockies. Merry Christmas everyone.

now I'm having an identity crisis. There is no section for the Utah, Idaho, western Colorado, Wyoming area ....

How about a Western Mountain States region? Or call it whatever you guys want. I've noticed that there is quite a few of us out this way. grin

Even though I'm a born Husker, I don't think I'll make it out to NE for a meet. wink

Send a note to John & Peggy at [email protected] and ask for a mountain state region. John said up front they are open to creating other regions of the demand is there.

This is why I think having time zone areas would be the way to go.

You know guys, all you have to do is group together and name yourselves! It's the group that is named, not the area. Sure some guys tag along on a given name, but its' your choice to get together. Remember you can still use the Events, GABFests, Happenings! to set up meeting places. I was pushing to have it put into the side lot, but it never happened.
