From Dave:

Hello. Here are three photos of my '53 - 5-window Chevy 3100 series. It is an original Colorado truck and was licensed until '76.

I purchased it in 2003 from a retiree who had owned it for about 10 years but had done virtually nothing to it. It looked pretty hard but was still drivable even though it had been hit in the front end. Countless hours, days, sleepless nights ensued until I got married in May of 2004. My new bride immediately fell in love with it and being lovestruck myself, I gave it to her as a wedding gift. Well, I can only tell you that really put the rush on getting it finished!

With twin Carter Webers, an Offy intake and Fenton exhaust manifold and completely refurbished mechanicals and interior, it is now a little gem.

Thanks for including it in your Stovebolt Gallery.

Nice truck, Dave. I just noticed (when doing the spellcheck) "lovestruck" is real close to "loves truck" ... hehehehe! ~~ Editor
