Can someone send me info or links on "how to engine swap" I am a new guy to this type of work. I have done a complete frame off restoration to my 50 Chevy 3100. I need to replace the broken 235. Ready to move to the open rear end (just bought '70 2wd Chevy rear end). Is there clear step by step instructions out there? Thanks | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | Most important issue would be setting the V8 in the best location, relation to the radiator, firewall etc. I do know with these trucks that the steering box will hit the exhaust header so some go to independant front suspension just for that reason.
