I've got quite a few pics of my '37 flat bed below. Taken a while ago with a not-so-good camera, gives an idea of how the bed was mounted.

Those are some amazing trucks! I think dents and scars are just character! dance Just because it's old, does not mean it has to be restored! Thanks Stovebolt members! Happy trucking! wave I wonder what will come next. headscratch

I have had the COE for about 2 years now. The truck is almost all original except for an earlier repaint of the cab exterior.

Here is my new 6400 project - a 1946 cab/chassis minus a bed. I believe I will make a dumping flat bed
out of it. That is a decision that is a long way off because this has been sitting a long, long time. In a previous life (that ended 30 years ago) it was a gravel dump truck in Colorado. I am in the process of trailering it to Portland, OR. Home tomorrow! 10/13/11 WHY ARE THEY CALLED ART DECO???

The 4400 is a Flatbed/dump & the 3800 is a dump, soon to be a flatbed/dump. Handy to have around.

Oh and the GMC towing the 3800 home is another flatbed...Duramax/Allison. Not mine...a friends.

Here is my '46 2 ton which still needs to be restored, but it is running very well. Due to spending its life in a very arid and hot part of South Africa (Northern Cape for those who know SA) there is no rust. Hope the link works.

That is a very solid truck! I especially love the grilles on those! Anyone else have a truck to show off? Restored, or a rusty relic is welcome!

Go to our Gallery (In the menu bar at the top of the page) -- many users of this site have posted pictures of their trucks and stories about them. Approximately 3,000 trucks in there and many are Big Bolts -- it should keep you busy for days
wink

Hey Coaldawg -- Your truck ... I still don't get it ... ohwell

Regards,
John
