Taken a while ago with a not-so-good camera, gives an idea of how the bed was mounted. | | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,393 Camp Commandant | Camp Commandant Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,393 |

I think dents and scars are just character! Just because it's old, does not mean it has to be restored! Thanks Stovebolt members! Happy trucking! I wonder what will come next. The truck is almost all original except for an earlier repaint of the cab exterior. | | | | Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 78 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 78 | Here is my new 6400 project - a 1946 cab/chassis minus a bed. I believe I will make a dumping flat bed out of it. That is a decision that is a long way off because this has been sitting a long, long time. In a previous life (that ended 30 years ago) it was a gravel dump truck in Colorado. I am in the process of trailering it to Portland, OR. Home tomorrow! 10/13/11 WHY ARE THEY CALLED ART DECO???
