I was trying to clean my speedometer on my 46 pick up and broke the needle. Can anyone tell me where to try to get one.

Here you go.....and other vendors in the links section will have it as well.

If you face is not that good you may want to consider a vinyl refacing kit. They have worked well for me over the years.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I've never been able to get the old needle off the shaft without breaking the shaft.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I use a gentle twisting force in a counter clockwise direction while I pull up. This has never failed for me. Sometimes when taking delicate things apart, I will warm them up with a hair dryer first.

The commonly available "speedometer needles" are just a cover that slips over your broken hub. Don't make the mistake I made and toss out your broken hub hoping to attach the new "needle" later.

Hookalatch, your exactly right. Those needles go over the old hub. If I had known that I wouldnt have broken mine trying to get it off!
