I also have an O.D., fenton headers, HEI, a stock waterheated intake with the stock rochester B, and radial tires. I get about the same on the highway, but that is about 65 - 70 ave. I'm sure it would be better if I would keep it at 55 - 60. | | |

I haven't been able to calculate mpg on mine because the speedo drive unit doesn't work. My grandpa says that he used to get about 15-20 depending on load, and how high he revved it. | | |

With an overdrive I imagine there is a huge difference between street and highway driving. If I had to guess, I probably get 13 on the street and 20 on the freeway. | | |

Late 235 with duals intake and exhaust.
No head work, no cam upgrade.
18-20 mpg freeway
14-16 mpg city (4000 ft altitude)
All depends on your tuning abilities and the right carburetors, with a good engine. | | |

when I had the enclosed drive and with patricks 3:55 I still only got about 10-12......

With the overdrive and a 3.90 rear end. In OD the final drive is 2.73 I just had the speedo calibrated and could not beleive it myself.
Gotta love it.
