Welcome to our newest forum on the Grassy Knoll! As stated above, this forum is trial forum to see if there is interest in having forums for the different truck eras. Restoration help, history anecdotes, stories, whatever -- it's all good in here as long as it relates to the '60-'66 trucks and it isn't advertising (Please post your parts wanted/parts for sale/etc stuff in the Swap Meet!)

Thanks & Welcome!

John and all of us at Stovebolt.com!

This is a great idea! I am a child of the sixties and love to revisit those times! I remember lots of those model years of trucks and cars in the showroom!
Thanks John, I hope this flies~

WOW Man...far out! Great idea. My '65 lwb ss ( known as "FRED")is 'in process'....very slowly.....to become my daily driver, finally ALMOST done with all the stuff you don't see (new fuel tank under bed, completely rebuilt diff.(3.08), 5 speed (new clutch & fabricated drive shaft), front power discs, all new ball joints, tie rod ends etc, finally put on the newly painted Rallye wheels, shiny trim rings and center caps and fresh tires. Still much to do but he is starting to get together.

John, great forum. Don,t do a lot of posting but enjoy the reading. I just finished a 65 c20 leaf spring.Drive it every day when home.Put power steering t-5 trans. and utility bed on it. Herbie(former owner named got to keep it!) hauls my 65 Impala to all local dragstrips. Will post photos and history soon.

John, this is a great idea. I like the idea of going directly to a forum related to the year or model truck that one owns. Good on Peggy!!!! Hobert
