That's a pretty wild color, will it look good on something that big? Be sure to take some pictures!

Mr. Chipmunk, sir,

You have the color sense of an artist! I am awed by just how beautiful "IT" is! Before Valentine's Day, too. I know your wife will love her present!

Kidding aside, I can't wait to see it in person! Congrats!

My very best wishes,

Les

Alvin, the difficulty you are having containing your excitement is perfectly understandable! That looks sweet and it feel like a monumental milestone has been reached after all you've been through with your build.

It's photos like that that keep me motivated.

Woody, you think I'm excited now just wait until tomorrow. My paint/body man called me and said the BODY is painted. He has enough paint left to paint the outside of the front doors and thats it except some inside. He also said he needed another quart of paint and 1/2 gal of clear. That is just one quart shy of Two gallons on it.
man, wait till I get a picture of that big body......and we will roll the chassi under it later this week and then the doors go on.

Everything is painted except the outside of the front doors and they are by now!
Still have the lower inside walls to paint but its about over except the small pieces like the windshield trim, door trim and some under the hood braces.
Plan to put the chassis under it this weekend and put the front doors on it.

If you view the pics full screen you can probably get a better feel for the color. Its been a LOOONG time coming and still a lot of work to do but I am excited. yahoo

EDIT: ....now where is my checkbook wink
