Thanks to all here who have knowingly and unknowingly influenced where my project went. Here’s the spec’s: 1952 Chev 1300 (Canadian ½ ton) 1955 235 w/ .080” overbore Fenton intake w/dual Rochester “B”s and solid linkage Split stock exhaust w/Dynomax mufflers straight back Ported 848 head 261 cam 53-54 water pump w/stainless adapter plate 3:55 gearset Amsoil bypass filtration Ash bed Alpine stereo American Racing rims on Radial TA’s Custom machined side cover and air cleaner Custom roll pan Modern paint (2002 Avalanche Arrival blue) Other than above the remainder is stock I did all the work myself with the exception of shooting the paint and the torque tube r&r as I had access to an old guy who had done many of them. Here’s some pics: frontrearengine rightengine leftash bedand roll pan I wasn’t very happy with the linkage I received with my intake but instead of bashing the vendor I used my proficiency with computer aided modeling and machining to come up with something that not only worked but actuated the carbs from the best possible direction to avoid straining the throttle shafts. Here’s a shot of my linkage. Maybe some engineer out there will come up with something similar for the other popular setup. Thanks again everyone. Curt B.

I really like your side plate and cover. You could probably market those if you had the time.Great truck.
