Boiling Springs is a long way from here and I'm sure the food is excellent and the Southern hospitality is as well. Maybe we will meet up sometime as I did with Tony in Weatherford and had a ride in his Panel. When my sub is done I plan on plenty of trips and maybe SC can be one of them. The pic that I posted was an experiment to see if I could actually post a pic. A much younger person is trying to get the procedure thru my rather thick Norwegian skull.

I have a good stovebolt friend up in Northfield that owes me a Porterhouse staak and I plan to collect one of these days. ( I was also stationYou come on down, maybe by then I'll at least have the body back on the chassis. I'm just about to get into the body work later this year and I know its not gonna be fun...even though I have most of the repair panels/patches ready.

OH....when you pulled off your original wood body blocks did you notice that the blocks of wood were held in place under the body by NAILS being driven through the wood blocks and into the metal piece that sits on the blocks?

Here are a few extracts about spiral nails: "Spiral nails have a spiral line down the shank, somewhat like the threads of a screw. These nails are used for securing hardwood flooring, attaching siding, and building rafters. They have great holding power, and are very squeak-free.
