Next question: how much do I need to put in it? I tried Advance, they couldn't tell me.
Also, the rearend cover has no drain or fill holes; how the heck am I supposed to get it in there? Through the vent, I suppose? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | there is a pipe plug on the differential housing on the passengers side behind the universal yoke, you will see the hole is square use an extension 3/8 or 1/2 i cant remeber but that will remove it. after removing the plug fill the rear until lube runs back out the hole (that is the full level) replace the plug (use teflon tape on plug) and your DUN! Dude! I was about to do that myself! Sure enough, it was almost exactly two bottles. There isn't but about a 1/4" left in the second bottle. It's a 3/8" drive rachet that will open the plug as well. Thanks for the info, Radial. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | That is what this place is for Gents!...you have no IDEA how many tips & tricks Ive learned here...KEEP ON BOLTIN!
