Hello,

Brand new to this forum (and any forum for that matter) so go easy on me grin.

I own a 58 stepside and am seeking advice about alternate fuel tank locations and donors that will work in the spare tire area.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance Ironhead (Grant)

Welcome neighbor! Obviously you have good taste in trucks.

I remember seeing the fuel tank swap-out discussed a few times. You might try the search link at the top right corner of this screen and try a 'bolt google search. Also, I know that the vendors out there sell under-bed tanks custom made to fit our series. I saw a 58/59 truck a couple weeks ago that had the fuel filler in the floor of the bed, near the tailgate, so I know folks out there are doing it.

Classic Trucks has a tank that they advertised a while back here on the February Stovebolt news.
