I was wondering what the long range plan is for the truck. Will it be restored back to a fire truck, or something else? The best thing about the big ones, is once you remove the bed, you have a blank slate, and your options are just about unlimited.

Hopefully we will not ever have to even consider removing the bed as it is welded to the frame! If we happen to acquire another one that is maybe not so unique, then I will likely have plans of modernizing the driveline, and some other necessary parts, for actual use as a truck!
