Hey all,

I bought my first truck when i was 15 and drove it to high school , its a 1953 gmc 9430 one ton truck and it runs like new,
after owning it for 12 years it has gone into the shop to get a full resto and a wrecker put on it to move my other antique cars around, I bought a 2 ton last summer to pull a 1941 great western fuel tanker. and then just after christmas I ended up getting 8 trucks given to me, and now the yard is filling up with these trucks, I also have a 1950 GMC snap on tool truck that some day will get restored.

the total is 15 trucks so far ranging fron 1948 to 1954 and from 1/2 ton to 2 ton. and three are the nice 5 window trucks and one is a nice 3/4 ton that was a one owner truck that I am gonna try to get running. these trucks run so nice and I love driving my 53 and cant wait to get it on the road.

ill be asking alot of questions about these trucks as time goes by.

thanks and I look forward to drivin my old trucks

Ryan,
welcome aboard. We can't wait to see some photos of those great trucks in your collection. I guess that they are buried in snow right now, right?

I had to dig 8 of them out of a snow bank and take them home...and tryin to put as many in my shop as I can.ill take pics for alll to see and will be asking alot of questions as I restore these trucks.

most of them will be built to original. I love the sound of an old chevy 6 running, but one of the bunch will be hot rodded as it is sitting on a 1984 blazer 2wd froame and the cab was cut up pretty good. aside from this one all the others will be built to be original.

hope to see alot of nice old bolts on here

Howdy Folks. 15 Trucks!! That'd be awesome! Anyway, I am new here as well, but couldn't seem to start my own intro topic (I guess I need some more ether..) so I am saying Howdy for the first time here! When I figure out how to start a new thread I will say more, but for now: Current restoration project: 1948 1.5 Ton Chevrolet Loadmaster Fire Dept. And no I am not "Faint of heart, weak of arm, or small of garage"!

hey welcome to the other new fellows on this site,

these trucks are everywhere in sask,

Im sure a guy can have way too many,

as for pics the wife will start reworking my old mustang website to reflect the trucks and they will get added one at a time.

everyone have a great day and keep them out of junk yards.

wasnt too big of a fan of the big bolts but they too are everywhere,

also wasnt too big of a fan of the 5 window trucks ( i have an on going joke with the hot rod guys in town, that I have to settle for a 5 window cab for my 53 as its the best cab I have and those guys want the 5 window trucks to rod...but I wont even sell them a 3 window...)
I always liked the look of the 3 window cab, I think its a lil cleaner than the 5 but thats my preference...

anyhow I should get running I have a distributor to install in a 216 so I can go for a ride.

I would love to find a fire truck but there are not too many around here,

Nice collection of Trucks. I'm sure others, as I am, are green with envy. I need to remember "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's (trucks)".
