Glad to have you ridin' along in the cab.

Congratulations on your "NEW" truck. Doncha just love it!

And has been said, you can send pictures--most of the fellers here like pictures. Seems some of us have a hard time readin' 'cause our glasses won't stay in place.

Some of the coolest trucks on this web site don't have beds wink

Yeah -- pics are great! Email them to Peggy (along with the story of how you got your truck and what it is, why you like it, etc) and we'll add you to the Gallery.

For all the visually challenged geezers like Foster, you should use a photo hosting place like Photobucket or Snapfish and then post the link back here. Keeps our server space manageable and you can post all the images you want. And Glenn IS right about how we like pictures -- and the more you have, the better we like ya.

And welcome to Stovebolt.com, by the way! WE're glad you're here! Be sure to check out the rest of the site for all our Tech Tips, feature stories and the Gallery -- lots of '41-'46 trucks in there and those guys will be happy to answer any question you might have -- just look 'em up and zorch 'em an email.

And in 20 seconds, you'll be as smart as me!

Again, Welcome!

John

Alright, another Art Deco Dude!!

Welcome to the "Bolt" mlancaster24, and a BIG Congrats on your new BIG BOLT. I like pictures too, can't wait to check it out.

The Head Janitor was right on the button,

"Some of the coolest trucks on this web site don't have beds ".

It's kind of like a blank slate, all your options are open, and you don't have to feel bad about desecrating a piece of history by discarding some of its parts.

Now that you have my attention, how about a little more info. Which wheelbase long or short (160" or 134.5") does it run, and if not, do you have any idea when it last did. Are thinking about a full frame off restoration, or is it more of something to tinker with?

Not trying to put you on the spot, because it really doesn't matter to most of us. It's ALL GOOD as another Stovebolt is being saved.

It looks like it's pretty much complete, and really straight. The grill even looks good, and the tires are holding air (that makes it much easier to get them home).

Nice truck

That is a pretty neat truck. It takes me back to when I first got mine in 2002 only yours is in better shape. People ask me whether I would want to do another one and when I see pictures like yours I think the answer is YES!
