LONGBOX55 'Bolter L Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 DANVILLE IL	Welcome to the 'Bolt! Well, a LUV is a Light Utility Vehicle, but those didn't go into production until '72. They were a "captive import", badged as Chevrolet, but manufactured by Isuzu. I'm inclined to think that somwhere, the registration was listed incorrectly. BTW-Sweet truck you've got there! If your truck is titled, registered and insured as a 1965 1/2 ton with the correct Vin number, I'd let "sleeping dogs lie". If a question was ever raised (which it won't be) about the "LUV" you could just take "Builders" cue and just flash a big smile! I've found the less info you share with DMV gets you out the door quicker! Also....nice truck.....just drive!!! I used to have '76 long bed and if I ever can will have another. That was one tough LITTLE work truck. And would also agree to keep DMV clueless untill absoluted necessary.
