I dont want to take the time to fill mine if there is someone out there Thanks | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | Never seen one - metal or fake.
If you do decide to fill yours I would suggest doing it while the hood is installed on the truck. Tack the halves together about every 5 inches then lay a strip of metal in the valley and tack that in very slowly to prevent warping. Grind the tacks down and smooth out with filler. Good luck. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | Yup as Houston stated ...PO filed mine with bondo , all cracked down the center ..you will need to weld in a filler | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | Jim, See if these guys have what you want, Scott | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 | i beleive superior glass work makes a hood or in the prossess of getting production going. i know they make glass rear fenders and running boards. iw ill ask my freind that works there tonight and post again
