My front glass is in..the rain stopped. I drove my truck around the neighborhood and to the gas station for a fill up.

It has been a long process since Fall of 05'.

Lots of little details to finish up, but I think I am back on the road!!!

The old 216 is a pretty amazing little engine. That thing runs so nice.

Pics coming soon, but what a nice drive!

Hey, that's great. I love the feel of a stock engine humming along... especially a 216 so often underestimated. smile

It's always fun to drive them for the first time. One of my old Binders had not been on the road for God knows how long. I had gotten it running, sort of, but no brakes--could just move it around the yard a little bit.
Just this week got it back from the shop--runs better, and now stops also. So yesterday I had to take it about 3 miles down the road and back. What a great feeling! It's the farthest that thing had gone under it's own power in years!

Hopefully my turn will come this week! Just about finished fabricating the filler nozzle for the new saddle tank and then it's clean out the carb, put some gas in and turn it over and see what happens! It's been sitting in the same spot for four years now. It's Time!!!!

Hey DJ, I like your little B-25 in your signature...pretty cool!
