Can someone get me the dimensions of the factory speaker cover/ ash tray ? My 52 has had the dash modified ,,,the 2 round gauge holes are gone and i have a molded in square hole I have l aready made a new gauge plate to mount in the sqaure hole but i would like to put the factory speaker cover and glovebox door back in and i have neither of them and need to order new ones ,so I need the dimensions so I can check if the speaker cover will be to wide with my modified dash before ordering one . However, you will lose a very nice detail [ rounded end ] on the stainless steel trim and the embossed word, "Chevrolet" would not be centered on the trim...it would look kind of funky.
I would need to see a photo of your dash...maybe it will work for you.

I belive that included interior trim as well, but not 100% certain.
