I dont have 1 in hand too see if i could modify it ...BUT AGAIN THANK YOU ! i might just get the pair on e-bay an see what i can do with it ..the glove box has hinges an all ...not pretty but some blastin an work can be made nice | | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 179 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 179 | Yes, you could shave a 1/2" off. However, you will lose a very nice detail [ rounded end ] on the stainless steel trim and the embossed word, "Chevrolet" would not be centered on the trim...it would look kind of funky.
I would need to see a photo of your dash...maybe it will work for you.

Anyone know for sure? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 341 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 341 | '52 and '53 were war year trucks and had very little stainless and chrome, if any, due to the shortage in nickel going to the war effort. I belive that included interior trim as well, but not 100% certain.
