For one, we know what we have and what years the parts fit. We are selling it to help someone out and not just make a profit. And by selling or buying from a fellow bolter makes it like buying from family. I have purchased parts unseen (except for pictures) from three of our "family" members in recent months and am nothing but pleased with the price, product and communication. I have bought a HUGE number of truck related items on e-bay and have rarely run into problems. Just the other day a fellow stovebolter set me up with a small part I needed for free (yeah...free). How cool is that! With all of the transactions I have had I have only run into one where I got taken. I met up with a fellow bolter and traded him a set on '41 inner fenders for a carb (which he was going to send). I never got the carb and he never responded again to e-mails. Even with that, I agree that bolters for the most part are a great goup of people tht it is great to do business, trades, etc... with. Much more personal here than any e-bay transaction (and free...have you donated to the page lately?). If they wern't (is that a word?), we wouldn't be out here each day!

Person is selling a windshield regulator and last auction for it wanted $50 starting bid but told the truth that it skipped and needed rebuilding. Now dropped the price and omitted the fact about needing rebuilding and is trying to dump it off as just a used unit. I emailed him on it and his omittion in his auction and shall see what happens. Person is clearly trying to get someone to just buy it now without being truthful. another less than truthful ebayer the first auction hah...the seller responded that the auction was fixed and then just squeezed "worn gear" in the description. Nothing about skips and needs rebuild. :rolleyes:

Every part has been exactly as reported and was at a lower cost than I could buy it from any store. I'm happy to buy from the stovebolt members! I have been given parts for FREE also!!! Can't get any better than that.
