You can also build a topper with a pitch roof. See the gallery about the huy from Tenn. and his truck Shelly. Pretty sure he had a good set up. I had one on a 60 Ford and it was the best thing about the truck. You could also use the concepts for the small teardrop trailers guys are building.

I like it but would it suite my 58 Chevy stepside? I deliver banana plants which shred in wind and being driven around. It rains alot and keeping the plants & trees dry and out of the wind is vital.
