I added another to my stall. It's a '56 with a 350 auto. Runs, drives, stops and everything. grin

Great looking truck. I always did like the 55 thru 57's. Does that still have the vacum operated wipers? If so, how well do they work?

Cletis,

You must be living life right to get such a great truck. I love the big back window trucks. Take care of it and have fun.

Thanks for all the comments.

Concerning the wipers, yes, they are vacuum. They work fine idling with no rain. I'll have to get back to you about driving in the rain.

my dad has a 55 with the big back window. unfortunatley it is over qualified for the irwipi contest. last time i saw it it was under enough lumber to build a house.

nice truck!

(by the way...can totally relate to the vac wiper)

The truck ran great to Dallas and back but it drives like an old truck. Sure was fun. Had a great time at the show. Fred is always fun to be around. I don't care what you guys think about him.

I'm going to meet up with him again later this month at the Arlington swap meet. Anyone care to join us?

Well I told you wrong. I just thought it has vacuum wipers because it has a cable control. I didn't realize the electric has cable control too. It has electric wipers.
