I was thinking that we share one or two pics of our "Bolts" with in this group. This is not meant to replace the Gallery, but just to show the other Southern Bolters what is out there.
With that I guess I'll start, I know it's in pieces but here is "Earnest".

note: no idea why my photos get the wonky [img] tag instead of shrinking like everyone else.
Hmmm, so don't click on the photo after uploading... and don't bother with previewing a post if you add a photo as it doesn't show. Ok, got it, but weird.

Fairly new here, but being from Ga, I guess that puts me in with yall Southern Bolters
Im from Coweta county, just north of Sharpsburg.
Added 3 new pics of my 62 C10 in dark gray primer. Also has a new set 255/70/15 tires. The old 62 has come a ways since that 1st multicolored pic. It still has a ways to go to ,but it is currently my daily driver ðŸ‘

1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original. Some of this story is in the Side Lot Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
Fattboyzz, again Welcome to the site. Glad you checked in at the Southern Bolter's, lots of folks in your area. We have some events I the works you and 62 would be a welcome addition. A few of us are getting together for the Antique Expo at Minters farm outside of Fayetteville the 3rd and 4th of March. I'm currently working out the details for our annual meeting, this year it will be at the AD Nationals in Townsend Tn.

Yea, and what I love to do....you'll be in a parking lot or a gas station somewhere, (and we've all had this happen), folks have to come over and look and ooh and ahhh at your truck, I tell them it took me over a month to get it like this. The look on their face is priceless.

We have added another Bolt to our fleet, a '62 C10. The Truck has been in my wife's family since purchased new by her Great Uncle. It's a base Truck, no heater or radio, 235, 3 speed on the column. It has rust in the usual areas for these trucks, the roof corners and knee knockers. The bed floor is completely rotted. The plan is to get it running, driving and then make it pretty. For now I'm just calling it Miss "T", Linda will no doubt name it something else.
PS: Linda' was told the Truck was a '62, I think it is in fact a '60. All of the badging and grill are correct for a '60. Having Linda's truck be a '60 would be pretty COOL as Thor is a '58, Ernest is a '59.

Three at my house. Mine are the 1963 C10 fleet and 65 step side. Both short beds. I have significant financial and time invested in my son’s 1968 short fleet. Haha! At least I’m on the title.
Make it pretty? Give it a good rub down with 30 wt. I must ask...does it have brakes🤣
Brakes are overrated....

I had it there at their first show and placed in the top ten and hope to take it back in 2024. It's still on the original frame, ( I get asked often what frame is under it) 350 engine, power steering, 14 bolt rear axle and SM420 trans but I'm in the process of installing a NV4500 5 speed. Future plans are tinted glass, air conditioning and a more modern seat. Of course like all projects it won't ever be done!
John L, where in TN are you? The Townsend show was a blast, we have decided to use the show as our annual Jamboree site. Dave (the show organizer) has been great to work with and is very accommodating to us "BOLTERS" Last year we only had one truck that made the show, PaPa Joe and "Old Blue" saved our Bacon. I would love to see you and "Green Truck'" there with us in '24.
I am currently working on "Thor" changing to a higher geared Dana 90 and upgrading to 4 wheel disc brakes. "Thor" should make the Townsend show, I promised Archie I would have a truck at the next show.

I'm in Sparta Tn. it's @ 16 miles south of Cookeville. I talked briefly with ya'll at the Stovebolt tent at the show. I had my GMC wrecker there the past show but I'm planning on bringing the green truck this year. Look forward to meeting you in 2024!
Alright Folks, I would like all of you to post a favorite picture of your Truck. No questions just yet , I have a wild idea running around in my head.
