Time to start thinking about the Reunion in September! I know it's too early to set any plans. But, T-shirts design needs to be thought about and color of the shirt. Hotel will also need to be worked out. Super 8 is not where we will be staying again.
Just asking for some thoughts and idea's. Don

Don't know yet Rusty! I'm hoping the park will be done by then.

Thanks for the update Mongo. Hopefully the river will go back down and stay down.

Much prefer the Park to a concrete parking lot. I know there was no choice last year but getting back to “normal” will bring the crowds back.

I vote for "Super 8 is not where we'll be staying again"!

Sorry folks that I have been dragging my feet on the planning. But, with this covid stuff going around, I didn't want to start just yet. With that said, I'll contact Shelly on the T-shirts and get the current prices. And hopefully Mongo will chime in and give us an update on the show and the park. I'll also check on Hotel rates that are not far away. Another question is about restaurants, are they open?
I also don't expect a big turnout like in the past, but you never know. Don

I talked about a week and a half ago with Classic and went by the park, it looks great. The word at the time was that the show would be at the park the city is going to ask for everyone to wear masks and their may be a waiver to sign but that all seems doable. Restaurants are open they're @ 50% capacity. I haven't heard anything about host hotels yet but I'm sure that's in the works and if I hear something I'll let ya' know. Mongo

I am planning to attend. I missed last year due to a wedding. If I can find a place close enough to camp, that would be great. Otherwise I may just drive down Saturday morning and head home Saturday evening. Not yet sure if Theresa will be joining me.
Darn Mister Rusty! If you are that much under her wing? At least make up something like, "I can't be there because I have to study"! Or, "I'm in hospital with a broken back. But "the wife won't let me", is just lame!
But, I we miss your help this year and thanks for letting us know. Shakey61 has been recruited/drafted to help with the Reunion.
It should be at the park this year and John Lucas can be the parking director. Shakey has agreed to lead the T-shirt distribution with Vicki's help. He is also doing the back design on the shirts. Hopefully John will have the decal design finalized and we will have decals to distribute! Door prizes are in the works and I have some that were headed to the Homecoming that didn't happen. Tough it up ODSS!
Sound like Vicki will also have a lot of cookies for the weekend starting Friday night at the Alderson's. More info as we get closer to the event! Don

Has anyone heard about whether camping in the park will be permitted? I believe it was allowed in the past. I would be bringing a travel trailer with a portable generator for power to run the ac.
Sorry to be harsh on you Rusty! But in my book, Family comes first! That includes your classes to acquire the skills you need to take care of your family. The event will still go on as far as we know right now, but this covid stuff is still ramping up in the Heartland. Five weeks away and if the show is canceled, the Reunion will also be canceled.
But as we sit now, all the planning is on full throttle! Don

E.H. Young park in Riverside, Mo. Drive in like you did last year and make a left at the casino and on past the Super 8 dump! The road dead ends in the park and just ask any worker where the Stovebolt group are. They all know us and treat us like Kings! (Had to put that pun in there).
