The product in question is a direct knock off of Zero Rust, if that tells you anything. ;^) If you'd like to see a heads up comparison between Zero Rust and POR go to http://www.autobodystore.com/images/boattest.jpg the test was on the motor mounts on a saltwater fishing boat and the pictures were taken after 16 months.

Are you referring to the SEM?

I recently bought a spray can of SEM to test sheen for chassis and black parts. Also have been comparing ZR and Rust-Lok [a PETIT marine below waterline primer that I have not seen anyone mention (guessing like POR15 b/c of U/V exposure instability, etc ?)].

If SEM is truly comparable to ZR then I would like thoughts or cyber shoulder shrugs.

Thanks!

Haven't seen this "brand" around my neck of the woods. Where do you get it?

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I found it at Finishmaster. Not sure how widespread tehy are...distributor of automotive and industrial paint, etc.

Here is the link to the product:

http://www.sem.ws/product.php?product_id=154

The advantage for me is that it is available down the road.
