Since the URL in part says "History of ATF" I'm gonna take a guess that it's about something that we are not talking about.. which is ATF fluid used in the Military in WWII.

So.. even though I have provided a period document (two, at last count) that clearly shows that ATF fluid what not used in the ONE vehicle that was actually filled with an AT, we now get to take a ride on the 'I googled something that it tangentially related to something that is a minor issue about something that never happened.

Basically it says what I have... early ATs used engine oil, it didn't work, GM in 1949 created ATF Type A (4 years post WWII, for those counting).
