I've taken 10-12,to a truck tire shop,and they charged $12.50/ea. I could've bought a whole,(6),set of flaps and tubes for that much! Where I work,has pallets stacked 3-high,10-deep,of rubber mats. Nobody knew what to do about disposal. I "googled" rubber recycling,and found a company,within 100 miles,willing to PAY,per pound! They manufacture rubber mulch,used on playgrounds and other applications. Bias tires don't have the steel belts,like radial tires do, so one of these recyclers MAY be happy to take them off your hands. They wouldn't have to worry about the wire dulling the blades,or tangling the moving parts. I need to check into this,too. I still have some to dispose of.
