I haven't read the procedure yet. But it would be very difficult to heat the rivet while it is in the hole. Well what I mean is the frame is also going to be heated, not good. If what others say about rivet squeezes being used at the factory then they did not heat the rivets. As far as setting tight in the hole after being set, a cold rivet will do that just fine, just need the right pressure to accomplish it.
