Wow, thanks for the responses. Being new to the forum, I wasn't sure what to expect. You guys are great.
Firstly, I will be identifying the engine and obtaining a manual.
Vics1939- If I would have snapped the distributor base that wouldn't explain the valves not moving when I turn the motor over while looking in my oil fill does it?
So where do you guys recommend buying parts from?
