I managed to get 4 gasgets over lunch. Two at .001 and two at .002". That way I can just try to match them up to the ones I pulled off.
HevyHauler...I have now way to actually measure the backlash. There is no cover to take off the PTO. The guy at the shop (Inland Truck) said that I was going to have to use play in the output shaft to judge lash.
(There was one suggestion of taking the tranny apart, pulling off the cover of tranny, but that seems way out of my league.)
