As long as you have a bit of backlash you're OK. Just be sure the gears aren't tight against ea. other. Get some copper wahers for the fasteners. NAPA has them but you may have to look in their paper book of brake parts to find them. They should have the gasket. A lot of this depends on the skill level of who's waiting on you. Doug
