Ok...a must fix has jumped the list of want to fix's. The tranny is leaking bad at the PTO.
Turns out the reason it wasn't leaking before was because it was practically empty. After filling up last week...adding $$$$ Lucas and running all over heck and Dodge in the last few days....she is now putting all that fresh tranny grease/lube back on the driveway for me.
It appears to be leaking like a sieve...from bolts and around the whole thing. So I am figuring the gasket is gone/done/ruined/old/etc.
Since I have the PTO attached...is the gasket any different than if the cover was on there?
Where can I get that gasket as Napa/LMC don't seem to have one?
Do I make my own out of cork? (Found another thread that said cork installed dry...I'd probably put a thin layer of HighTemp on it.)
