If you've got a set of test leads from a discarded voltmeter, etc., a piece of one of them will be flexible enough to handle the constant motion of the distributor housing without breaking the strands of the wire. Regular primary wire won't last long before the strands start breaking up from metal fatigue. Be sure and solder the connections at the terminal ends for the best conduction.
